The name 'Herbs' is derived from Herbs and Stone, while his real name is Gbenga Nasiru Adekoye. He hails from the ancient city of Abeokuta, Ogun State in Nigeria. Herbs was born in early 80's into a family of four.
However, he had his elementary and secondary education in Lagos. He is currently an undergraduate of Mass Communication in the profound Lagos State University.

Herbs quest for music began from childhood and as a result of his passion for music he became a chorister in his church. Due to his tireless effort in the choir, he rose to become the Choir Co-ordinator. As an instrumentalist, Herbs plays the Keyboard, Guitar, Drumset, Sing e.t.c.

Nevertheless, he currently works as an independent Music Producer cum Artist. His singles titled 'Railway' is enjoying massive airplay on major radio station within and outside Lagos and its environs. His debut album will soon be released.

HERBS' is set out with the principal aims of reaching people with different perception through his music. Not only that, he is also looking up to
bagging both local and international awards ranging from Amen, Kora, Mobo, Grammy and a host of others.
